The RADIANT project seeks to identify policy incentives that promote underutilised crop (UC) production and consumption. Underutilised, undervalued or forgotten crops can have an important role to move forward sustainable production practices and consumption habits by diversifying agricultural systems, increasing the resiliency of agricultural production and by creating sustainable and healthier diets.
The main objective of the Policy Incentive Repository is to collect examples of policies implemented at different spatial scales (from local to regional, national and EU) and in various forms (e.g. legal incentives, communicational tools, taxation system, business- or consumption-focused instruments, ‘soft policy’ tools, etc.) which leverage UC production and/or consumption. This brief template asks for essential information on existing policies, which allows the creation of a repository of available policy solutions (Policy Incentive Repository).
