Visit to a dairy farm, open field mostly grass feed milk production
Lunch with the main focus on UNDERUTILIZED CROPS by 4 local CHEFS
Green smoothie workshop with the overall value of leafy greens (UC´s) in human health.
There will be an opportunity to see great examples of successful players and their contribution to the dissemination of the agroecological practices throughout the archipelago of the Azores with PERMACULTURE and backyard AGROFORESTRY projects with great respect for the soil food web that is crucial for soil health, farmer’s sustainability and healthy consumers.
